Adam Milburn McFarland, 39, of Kent, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2012 at his home in Kent.
He was born September 11, 1972 in Chicago Heights, IL to Walter H. and Leslie (McClurg) McFarland. He loved his family, animals, movies (anything with Tom Cruise!), music, and watching sports, especially his team the Philadelphia Eagles.
He is survived by his father, Walter (Joanne) McFarland of West Monroe, LA: his mother, Leslie (McClurg) McFarland of Rochester Hills, MI; sisters, Leigh (Peter) Sarfati of Rochester Hills, MI, Kathleen (Michael) Barth of Erial, NJ, Maureen (Bron Roeder) McFarland of Kent, Allison McFarland of Boiling Springs, SC; brother, Kent (Maureen) McFarland of Gibbsboro, NJ; Uncle, James (Charlene) McClurg; Aunt, Evelyn Aubrey; nieces and nephews, Marley vanWel and Theo Sarfati, Michael and Meghan Barth, Joe, Paul, and Brennan McFarland, and Logan McFarland.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Clay McFarland.
The family will receive friends 9:30 am until 11:30 am Saturday, February 11th 2012 at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home 628 West Main Street, Kent. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM Saturday, with Rev. Dr. David Palmer officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Hattie Larlham Foundation, 9772 Diagonal Road, Mantua, OH 44255. Hattie Larlham provides health care and social programs for children and adults with developmental disabilities.
