Ann L. DiAlesandro, 85, of Brimfield, OH, passed away Friday, August 17th, 2012 in her home surrounded by her loving family and friends, upon the family's completion of a traditional Italian meal. She will be forever cherished and forever loved.
Ann was born July 2, 1927 in Cleveland to Sisto and Nancy (Crocco) Ruzzo. She spent her life loving and caring for family, friends and anyone who crossed her path. A long-time former member of St. Wenceslas Church and current member of St Patrick Church, Ann was a devout follower of the virtues of Mary and the teachings of Mother Teresa. Ann enjoyed welcoming others into her home to nourish them with her cooking and hospitality. She took joy in her Bible study groups, book clubs, yoga, crocheting scarves and afghans, and aiding at St. Wenceslas Elementary School.
She is survived by her devoted and beloved husband of sixty two years, John J. DiAlesandro, whom she married on October 15, 1949; sons, Jack (Renie) DiAlesandro of Munroe Falls, Mike (Wendy) DiAlesandro of Kent ; daughters, Nancy DiAlesandro of Cleveland, Mary Anne DiAlesandro of Mansfield; grandchildren, Jake DiAlesandro, Angie DiAlesandro, Alessandro and Lia Rosa Brunetti; sister, Amelia (Carl) Hogsten;. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Ralph Ruzzo, sister and best friend, Jane (Bob) Morgan.

Calling hours will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM Monday, August 20th at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home 628 W. Main Street, Kent. A mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, August 21st at St. Patrick Church in Kent with Father Richard Pentello officiating. Burial will be held at Restland Cemetery in Brimfield.
