Ann Wiedeman, 86, of Stow, died Monday, December 8, 2014 at Arden Court Assisted Living in Chagrin Falls.
She was born May 8, 1928 in Beloit, to Harley J. and Margaret K. (Ray) Eshler. Ann received her Bachelor of Science degree in education from Kent State University and taught kindergarten in the Kent City Schools for over 20 years. She was a long-time member of the Kent Presbyterian Church. Ann was active in Coterie I, Delta Kappa Gamma, Chestnut Society, Tree City Campers, Kent Presbyterian Women and the Ruth Circle. She was an ardent fan of Kent State University athletic teams.
She is survived by son, Paul (Lynn) Wiedeman of Deerfield, IL; daughter, Christine (Kim) Bellian of Hiram; and sister-in-law Joan Eshler of Stow. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn, and brother, Richard Eshler.
Calling hours will be held 3-5 PM Sunday, December 14 at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home in Kent. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Monday, December 15 at the Kent Presbyterian Church with Rev. Aaron Meadows officiating. Private burial will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kent Presbyterian Church, 1456 E.
