Beatrice Geneva Quillin-Coss, 95, of Kent, died Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at Maison Aine Care Center in Stow.
She was born August 18, 1920 in Pittsfield to Henry and Pearl Ellen (Soules) Gotham. After the death of her first husband in 1943, she attended business school where she learned keypunching. She later took a job with the Erie Railroad travelling often on short trips by rail about the country. She loved to camping, fishing and boating, often spending weekends on the water. Her other love was her Pekinese, We Ming Chi.
She is survived by daughter, Patricia Quillin of Kent; granddaughter, Maria Ruby; grandsons, Michael Ruby and Jon Hedden; great grandchildren, Kati Jones, Sagan Ruby, Jacob Ruby, Noah Hedden, and Olivia Hedden; and her great great grandson, Jaxson. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Howard Quillin and Eugene H. Coss.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, September 26th at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home with Kevin O'Brien officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the services.
