Bernadine Marie Elmo, 100, of Kent, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. She was born in Cleveland on December 21, 1924 to the late Stanley and Mary Wojcik. Bernadine was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and was a Rosie the Riveter during WWII. She enjoyed playing cards and was known as the “Bingo Queen”. She was a wonderful cook and baker and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Elmo and her son David Elmo.
She is survived by her daughters, Karen Elmo and Mary (Jeffrey) Goodwin; grandchildren, Christopher Elmo and Molly (Sean) Tiesman; great granddaughter Pipi Tiesman and her daughter-in-law Sally Elmo.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at 10:00AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 313 N. Depeyster St. Kent, OH 44240, with the Rev. Fr. David Bridling as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg.
