Bernice Lostoski, 84, of Brimfield, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2021 at Justin T. Rogers Cleveland Clinic Hospice Facility. She was born in Akron on November 10, 1936 to the late Charles and Ellen Begue. Bernice was a 1954 graduate of Randolph High School, a former member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Randolph, a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Kent and Portage County Parkinsons Support Group.
She was an avid golfer who enjoyed traveling. She visited all 50 states and loved to vacation with her family. She had a passion for playing slot machines and will be deeply missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Roger, Martin, Donald and Charles and sister Mary Ann Bunch.
She leaves her husband Paul Lostoski, whom she married on January 12, 1959; sons, David (Cynthia) of Allen, TX, Daniel (Carleen) of Kent, OH, Douglas (Jenifer) of Richfield, OH and James (Christine) of Hartville, OH and her daughter Beth (David Bender) Anello of Copley, OH; 13 grandchildren; brother Gene Begue of Stow and sister Kate Knapp of Kent.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 9, 2021 at 10:00AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church, with the Rev. Fr. Richard Pentello as Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Randolph. Calling hours will be Thursday, July 8, 2021 from 4:00PM-7:00PM at Bissler and Sons Funeral Home, 628 W. Main St. Kent, OH 44240.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made, in her name, to St. Patrick Catholic Church, 313 N. Depeyster St. Kent, OH 44240.
