Betty Jean Arrington, 89, of Munroe Falls, passed away on Thursday, December 22nd at Altercare of Western Reserve in Stow.
She was born September 3, 1927, in Kingsport, Tennessee, to Roy and Kate (Mahoney) Hardin. Betty enjoyed reading, knitting, sewing, ballroom dancing and playing bridge with master players from the First Baptist Church of Kingsport, partnering with Barry Robertson, Jack Thweatt, Gordon Spangler, and Dot Jones. She also loved traveling, especially on cruises.
She is survived by her husband, Albert "Jack" Arrington, whom she married on January 19,1946; daughter, Katy (Mark) Verrona of Kent; sons, David (Lynne) Arrington of Cochiti Lake, NM, and Chris (Bev) Arrington of Kent; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; brother, Roy Hardin Jr. and sisters, Virginia Forrester and Nancy Hatch. She is preceded in death by her parents and sons Jerry and Tom Arrington.

Cremation has taken place. No services will be held. Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory are handling the arrangements.
