Betty Jane Miller, 91 died Friday, July 19 at the home of her son, Donald Miller of Hudson.
She was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and attended Baldwin Wallace College. She married Donald I. Miller in 1942 and was a bookkeeper for many years. They lived in Barefoot Bay, Florida, and then moved to Hudson in 2007, after her husband's death.
Mrs. Miller enjoyed playing bridge, making miniature doll houses and painting porcelain dolls, as well as teaching others about doll making. She also enjoyed square dancing and playing golf. Her favorite flower was the gardenia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; son, Timothy; and brother, Carl E. Ziehm, Jr. of Mansfield. Survivors include her sons, Donald Miller, Jr. of Hudson and James Miller of Port Clinton, OH; and daughter, Ruth Ellen Hofmann of Gresham, OR; six grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
