Betty Jane Seibert, 88, of Ravenna, died Sunday, September 6, 2015 at her home.
She was born March 22, 1927 in McDonald, PA to Pierre and Victorine (Cauchie) Lagneaux. Betty was a 1945 graduate of Cambridge High School. Betty retired from Technicare in Solon as an electronics assembler. She grew up in Cambridge and lived most of her life in Kent. Betty attended East Cambridge Methodist Church and was active in their youth groups and circles. She has been a member of the United Methodist Church of Kent for 48 years and was active in their circles. Betty enjoyed gardening, doing jigsaw puzzles and puzzle books.
She is survived by son, Greg (Michelle) Seibert of Butler, PA; daughter, Cheryl (Rick) Pinson of Ravenna; grandchildren, Stephanie Tasker (Adam) Harris of Valparaiso, IN, Riley Seibert, and Peyton Seibert of Butler, PA; great granddaughters, Aubrie and Corinne Harris; dear niece, Linda Seibert; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Jean Marie; her parents; and sister, Yvonne.
Calling hours will be held 5-8 PM Thursday, September 10th at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home in Kent where funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, September 11th with Rev. Dr. David Palmer and Rev. Douglas Denton officiating. Burial will be held at Grandview Memorial Park.
