Bian Rae Bolls, 66, of Lakemore, died Saturday, June 7, 2014 at her home.
She was born April 24, 1948 in Lynchburg, VA to Raymond Herbert and Jacqueline Rae (King) Baker. Bian taught math at Field Local Schools for 42 years. She was a member of Fallscreek Community Church in Munroe Falls. Bian was a born teacher with a true and honorable devotion to teaching that went far beyond the classroom. She took every opportunity to help anyone in need, educationally and spiritually, and she remained friends with her former students, always willing to help them. Bian's wry sense of humor kept us all on our toes and her laugh, so very her, will always be remembered. A devoted and dear friend to all. In remembrance of Bian, please take an opportunity to pay her graciousness forward.
She is survived by her son, Mark (Audrey Childs) Bolls of Lakemore; brother, John (Barb) Baker of Uniontown; sister, Sherri (Russ Fisher) Dzienis of Stratford, CT; nephews, Ryan (Kristi) Baker of Medina, Benjamin Baker of Uniontown and Jacob Dzienis of Stratford, CT; great nephews, Logan Baker of Medina and Zander Baker of Medina; cousin, Cate Aaron of Florida; friends, Donna (Sasha) Peters of Tallmadge, Linda (Dave) Weidaw of Uniontown, Sharon Collins of Ellet, and Barb Keller of North Canton; sister-in-law, Nancy Baker of Uniontown. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Baker; mother, Jacqueline Ryder; step-father, Fray "Skeets" Ryder.
Calling hours will be held 2-4 and 7-9 PM Wednesday, June 11th at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory in Kent. Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM Thursday, June 12th at Fallscreek Community Church with Pastor Dr. Michael Thomas officiating.
