Brittany Renee Wunderle-DeJarnatt passed on February 28th at her aunt and uncle's home, Laurie and Gary Knuth in Kent, Ohio. After a long courageous battle with cancer, she was finally at rest in her husband's arms and surrounded by loved ones. She was 33 years old.
Brittany leaves behind husband, Benjamin DeJarnatt whom she married on December 6th, 2016 at the Nurses Garden, Stanford Hospital. She also leaves behind her loyal dog, Lulu; father, John Wunderle; brother, Todd Penn; sister, Katie (Justin) Korom; niece, Kandes Penn; nephew, Camden Korom; mother-in-law, Linda (John) Gilmore; father-in-law, Jim (Lyndell) DeJarnatt; and brothers-in-law, James and Trey (Haydee'); sisters-in-law, Crystal and Rene' (Scott); along with numerous family and friends who will miss her incredible thirst for life. Preceded in death by her mother, Denise Wunderle' and grandparents John and Marylou Wunderle, Joseph and Mary Kandes.
Brittany loved music, travel, hiking the outdoors and was an accomplished artist.
Brittany was active in grade school and high school through cheerleading, soccer, and track. She was actively involved with the Los Angeles-Venice Art Community, a beloved member of the Collective Aesthetics art organization, and performed several live art shows throughout Southern California.
Her outgoing, free spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Brittany's battle with cancer served as an inspiration for many people who admired her no-quit, positive attitude.
Brittany's celebration of life will be held Monday, March 6th from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Musica at 51 E Market St, Akron, OH.
