Carl A. Sorboro, 83, of Kent, died Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna.
He was born February 11, 1928 in Ravenna to Dominic and Carmella (Farina) Sorboro. He was a veteran of the Air Force during the World War II. Carl was employed by Colonial Rubber, Norton Mfg and Portage County Dept of Weights and Measures.
He is survived by his wife, Juliann (Bosko) Sorboro, whom he married on February 9, 1952; sons, Carl A. Sorboro Jr. of Macedonia; daughter, Anita Sorboro of Kent; grandchildren, Anthony Sorboro of Stow, Christina Sorboro of Stow, and Vincent Sorboro of Macedonia; brothers, Louis Sorboro of Marco Island, FL, William Sorboro of Rootstown, and James Sorboro of Cuyahoga Falls; sisters, Judith Johns of Ravenna, Marietta Jobe of Randolph, and Elizabeth James of Rootstown. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Angelo Sorboro, Peter Sorboro, and Joseph Sorboro.
Private funeral services have been held.
