Charles G. Cutright, 82, of Kent passed away October 12, 2006 at Akron City Hospital Medical Center after a valiant fight of 4 months.
He was born December 27, 1923, in Alton, West Virginia and spent most of his life in the Akron area. Mr. Cutright served with honor in the US Navy for 6 years during the 2nd World War.
He worked at Firestone Tire and Rubber for approximately 45 years. He enjoyed playing golf with his buddies and his son.
He is survived by his son, Roger Cutright of Seville; his daughter, Rhonda (Mike) Maroni of Wadsworth; and his fiancée, Mary Courson. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Forest Cutright.
Calling hours will be held 6-8 PM Monday at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory, in Kent followed immediately by funeral services at 8:00 PM Monday with Pastor Jim Roma officiating. Burial services will be Tuesday at 1:00 P.M. at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
