Charles James Irvine, 84, of Kent, died Saturday, November 18, 2006 at Maison Aine Care Center in Stow.
He was born December 25, 1921, in Brookline, MA to David and Anna (Ward) Irvine. He was retired form Warner-Swasey in Solon.
He is survived by sons, Shawn S. Irvine of Atwater and Patrick L. Irvine of Kent; daughters, Shirley Bailey of Washington State and Joanne L. Slinger of Brimfield; and grandchildren, Leanna Irvine, Eli Zak, Elizabeth Slinger and Hannah Slinger.
Memorial services will be held 7:00 P.M. Thursday, November 30, 2006 at First Church of God, 464 Northeast Avenue, Tallmadge, Ohio, with Pastor William Wimmer officiating. Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory are handling the arrangements.
