Charles Edward "Chuck" Textor, Sr. 69, of Kent, died Sunday, October 17, 2010 at Akron City Hospital Medical Center. He was born November 10, 1940 in Ravenna to Frederick and Ethel (Neitz) Textor. He retired from Identisys Corp after 40 years of service. Charles was a devoted Catholic, who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family. He enjoyed the outdoors, working with his hands, and had a love for all animals. He leaves us with many memories to cherish. He will be missed greatly as a husband, a father, a grandfather, a brother, an uncle and friend. He is survived by his wife, Carol (Gallina) Textor, whom he married on Nov 19, 1966; sons, Charles (Beth) Textor of Kent, Michael (Stacy) Textor of Brimfield; daughters, Jean (Mic) Paolucci of Rootstown, Angela Textor of Brimfield; grandchildren, Corey and Hunter Textor, Anthony Paolucci, and Samuel Textor; brothers, Paul (Rose) Textor of Seattle, WA and Thomas (Mary) Textor of Jacksonville, FL; sister, Carol (Frank) Hayes of Canton, OH; Sister In Law, Alice Textor of Orlando, FL; many nieces and nephews, He was preceded in death by his parents Frederick and Ethel Textor and brother Fred Textor. Calling hours will be held 2-4 6-8 Thursday, October 21 at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home 628 West Main Street in Kent. A mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM Friday October 22nd at Holy Family Church 3179 Kent Road, Stow, with Father Patrick Shields officiating. Burial will be in Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent. Memorial contributions may be made to The Cooper Cancer Center at Summa Foundation 525 East Market Street Akron, Ohio 44304 in memory of Charles E. Textor Sr.
