Christopher A. Minott, 59, of Aurora, died Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Kensington Care Center.

He was born November 25, 1955 in Kingston, Jamaica, to Basil J. and Madge M. (Kinkead) Minott. He graduated from New York Medical College, then did his Urology residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. He established a practice in Las Vegas, NV where he spent 25 years. Christopher was an avid sports enthusiast especially loving football and the New York Giants. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. A loving father who always made time for his son.

He was a member in good standing the American Urologic Association, American Board of Urology, National Medical Association and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

He is survived by his wife, Blanca M. (Rodriguez) Minott; son, Christopher Andrew (Olimpia Giron) Minott of Reno, NV; parents, Basil And Madge Minott of Aurora; uncle, Michael Kinkead of Snellville, GA; brother, Howard (Melodie) Minott of Aurora; cousins, Donna Noad of Jacksonville, FL, Patsy Anderson of Port St. Lucie, FL, Frances Coke of Port St. Lucie, FL, Marjorie Duncombe of London, England, Patrick Minott of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, David DaCosta of Tampa, FL. He was preceded in death by his aunt, Dorothy Noad, uncle, Richard Kinkead, grandmother, Marjorie Kinkead, grandfather, Arnold Kinkead.

Calling hours will be held 3-5 PM Sunday, October 25th and Monday from 9-10:30 AM at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home in, Kent, OH, where funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, October 26 with Roger Cram officiating. Burial will be held at Aurora Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Boys and Girls Club of Cleveland or St. Jude's Hospital, Attn: Memorial Department, 501 St. Jude's Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
