Claudia M. Jacoby, 69, of Kent, died, after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis, Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at Robinson Memorial Hospital.
She was born October 26, 1942 in Ravenna, to Floyd and Mary (Copeland) Christner. Claudia was an artist and had completed the art course by Norman Rockwell. She loved animals, particularly ducklings, frogs, dogs, cats and horses. Claudia enjoyed music and liked to play the guitar.
She is survived by her husband, James "Jake" Jacoby, whom she married on May 1, 1962; son, Clint E. Jacoby of Kent; nieces and nephew, Nicholas, Valerie and Lori; and sister, LaVerne Ramicone of Kent. She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd Christner; mother, Mary Faverty; and step-father, Pat Faverty.
Calling hours will be held 12-1 PM Monday, September 10th at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home in Kent, with funeral services following at 1:00 PM with Joseph Love officiating. Private Burial will be held at Standing Rock Cemetery.
