Colleen Rhodes, 46, of Ravenna, went home to be with her Savior Saturday, October 21, 2006 at Akron City Hospital Medical Center.
She was born July 2, 1960, in Ravenna to Clyde and Cora Marilyn (Coulson) Rhodes. She was employed for many years as a line assembler at Portage Industries. Colleen's nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews were the light of her life.
She is survived by brother, John H. Rhodes of Garrettsville; sisters, Phyllis Lowe (Lyle) Summers of Ravenna, Lois Lowe (Gordon) Brooks of Delaware, Joyce Lowe (Jim) Weiser of Utica, Michigan, Peggy Rhodes (Paul) Bower of Kent, and Cynthia Rhodes (Eric) Mann of University Heights; eleven nieces; seven nephews; twenty six great nieces and nephews; parents, Clyde and Cora Marilyn (Coulson) Rhodes.
Calling hours will be held 1-3 and 5-6 PM Tuesday at Grace Baptist Church,5915 Rhodes Road Kent, Ohio where funeral services will be held 6:00 PM with Rev. Bruce Chouinard officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Portage Industries, 7008 State Route 88, Ravenna, Ohio 44266. Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory are handling the arrangements.
