Daniel Lynn Moore

Daniel Lynn Moore, age 66, of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, died on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at his home.

Daniel was born January 16, 1957 in Ravenna, OH to Donald and Nancy (McKee) Moore.

Daniel had many passions in life, including Cleveland Browns and Ohio State football, cooking, and any time spent with his grandchildren. He served in the United States Marine Corps, and was actively involved in the Marine Corps League in Cuyahoga Falls, where he once served as commandant. He devoted time in ‘Stand Down’ in Summit county, in which he helped homeless veterans gather basic needs. Dan held multiple leadership roles in the restaurant industry, he was very much a respected leader and developed lifelong friendships throughout his career. He was also a devoted Christian, was an active member of Discovery Church, and enjoyed helping out where he could in church activities. Most of all, Dan was most passionate about his family. He always went the extra mile for his family.

Dan was preceded in death by his father, Donald Moore; brother, Douglas Moore. He is survived by his mother, Nancy (McKee) Moore; brothers, Dennis Moore and David (Debbie) Moore; sons Brandon (Lydia) Moore and Christopher (Stephanie) Moore; grandchildren, Ben, Eva, and Declan Moore; and many other family members.

Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, November 18 at 12:00pm at Standing Rock Cemetery, 1361 N. Mantua Street, Kent, Ohio 44240.
