David P. Schell

David P. Schell, 81, of Kent, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at Kent Health Care and Rehab Center.  He was born in Alliance, OH on December 27, 1942 to the late Carl and Erma Schell.  David proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War and was a member of the American Legion Post #674 in Windham, OH.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Carl J. and Eric “Gary”.  David is survived by his sister Myra (Bob); nieces and nephews, Sharon (John), Diane, Carl T., Nancy, Jennifer; and great nieces Heather, Caitlyn and Ana.

In honoring his wishes, David will be cremated and he will be laid to rest at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made, in his name, to American Legion Post #674, 9960 E. Center St. Windham, OH 44288 or to Kent Health Care and Rehab Center, 1290 Fairchild Ave. Kent, OH 44240.
