Debra Cooper-Knuth, 59, of Kent, died Sunday, June 3, 2012 at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
She was born March 23, 1953 in Ellwood City, PA to David L and Dorothy F (Borison) Cooper. Debra was the director of the Help Foundation of Summit County and worked in the MRDD field for over 30+ years. She loved working with her clients to help make them a part of life. She enjoyed music especially the Beatle's, loved to cook, and surround herself with friends and family.
She is survived by daughter, Erin Knuth of Tallmadge; special friend, Teri Burnside of Kent; mother, Dorothy (Borison) Cooper of Aurora; brother, David K. (Sue) Cooper of Stow; nephew, Tyler Cooper of Stow. She was preceded in death by her father, David Cooper.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, June 9th at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory in Kent. A gathering will be held one hour prior to the services. Memorial contributions may be made to Help Foundation, 716 Graham Road, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.
