Della Mae Rhodes, 79, of Kent, died Thursday, October 19, 2006 at Traditions at Bath Road in Cuyahoga Falls.
She was born October 24, 1926, in Hubbard to Claude John and Nora Madella (Hollabaugh) Hanley. She worked as a nurse's aide and was a member of the Youngstown Salvation Army for 25 years.
She is survived by sons, Robert Wagner of Kent, Jack (Cindy) Rhodes of Girard, Edwin (Helen) Rhodes of Kent and Wesley (Dianne) Rhodes of Kent; daughters, Penny (Tony) Wagner of Akron, Wilma (Jim) Bobek of Kent and Debbie (Ken Keele) Rhodes-Keele of Kent; seventeen grandchildren; twenty three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Andy Rhodes; brothers, Ralph Hanley, Russell Hanley and Beryl Hanley.
Calling hours will be held 7-9 P.M. Monday at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held 11:30 AM Tuesday at Standing Rock Cemetery with Pastor Jon Soza officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Salvation Army, 190 S. Maple, Akron Ohio 44302.
