Dennis Armstrong 60 of Kent Ohio, A true Gentleman known for his Kindness and Witty Sense of Humor, lost his heroic battle with pancreatic cancer on November 10, 2011. He graduated from Baraboo High school in Wisconsin and held an art degree from UW Madison, WI. A proud Badger, Packer and Brewer fan! He worked at the family campground during high school along with carving wagon wheels and decorations for the Circus World Museum. He was a studio manager and designed protypes for TV commercials at a major advertising firm in NYC. He was a gifted artist and patternmaker. Family and friends looked forward to his pen and ink annual Christmas card. His artistic life and witty humor continued thru his last days via the internet.
Survived by his beloved wife, Cheryl Merriner Armstrong, Children, Terry Merriner and Carrie Merriner (Joseph) Larkin, Parents William and Charlene Armstrong, Sister, Sandi (Mark) Nelson, brothers Jim (Mary Lou), Bob (Jean),1 niece and 2 nephews, a large extended family, and dog and companion, Hazel. Preceded in death by a brother, Rick and 1 niece and a beloved parrot, Sassy. A special thanks to his boss, Todd Strohfus of Q Model, and great friend Val Liev whos' benevolence meant more than words can say! And the Nurses and Doctors of Robinson Memorial Hospital who were exceptional and caring. Memorial Service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials made to the family.
