Dennis A. Lowther, 62, of Kent, Ohio passed away peacefully Saturday, January 29, 2022, due to complications from Covid-19 at Kent Healthcare where he had been a resident for three years. He was born October 23, 1959 in Ravenna, Ohio to David R. and Millicent (Clark) Lowther who preceded him in death.
Denny was thrilled to have had the opportunity to work with his Father at the Davey Drill Company before his passing. He will be missed by his sister Cheri (Bill) Gressard; brothers Dave Lowther, Dale (Amanda) Lowther, Mark (Beverly) Lowther, and nieces and nephews whom he cherished dearly, Sarah (Andrew) Neri and girls, Aaron (Nicki) and boys, Anthony and children, Timothy, Charlie, Cameron Lowther. He also leaves behind many cousins that he enjoyed spending time with over the years, whether it be watching football, riding his mini-bikes or listening to music while sitting by a campfire or just sitting around at the lake.
Denny loved animals and was an avid motorcyclist as well as a racecar fan and spent many happy days at the racetrack. He also loved riding his snowmobile all over the place (he would have been happy to ride today). One knew he was happy when he would say the word "cool".
Cremation has taken place and there will be no calling hours, though there will be a celebration of his life later this summer at the lake, his favorite place. The family would like to thank all that took care of Denny's wellbeing at Kent Healthcare (we know he wasn't the easiest person to deal with). Also, we would like to thank Elara Caring Hospice for their special care of our Brother and Uncle over the last year. So, quoting Denny's famous parting words..... "Later - Bye".
