Devon Richard Bligh Dorr

Devon R. B. Dorr, 46, of Kent, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 28, 2024.

He was born April 22, 1978 in Willoughby, OH to Richard B. Dorr, and Kathleen (Willis) Dorr.  Survivors include his son Harland; mother Kathleen Dorr; sisters, Heidi (Richard) Cannon and Wendy (Travis) Miller and his nieces and nephews, Hailey Cannon, Bryce Cannon, Kasey Cannon, Stella Miller, and Davis Miller.  He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Dorr.

Devon was a graduate of Roosevelt High School.  He was a talented chef and an amazing artist.  He battled addiction for most of his life, but in the last two years had found his sobriety.  We will miss his smile and contagious laugh.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be sent to Zepf Recovery Housing, 2465 Collingwood Blvd. Toledo, Ohio 43620 or to Center of Hope, 1081 W. Main St. Ravenna, OH 44266.
