Donald L. "Ducky" Dodson, 79, of Kent, died Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at University Hospital in Cleveland.
He was born May 4, 1938 in Kent to Cloyd Edward and Edna Mae (Smith) Dodson. He was a veteran of the Army. He had been a machinist at RB&W and later worked for Federated Auto Parts as a driver. He enjoyed being the neighborhood Handy-Man fixing almost anything. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was selected numerous times to hunt in the Ravenna Arsenal.
He is survived by his son, Jeffery Warren; sisters, Elsie M. Deacon of Windham and Emma L. Setlock of Brady Lake; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles C. Dodson and Eddie Dodson; and sister, Marjorie J. Myers.
A Memorial of Life will be held 3-6 PM Thursday, June 8th at Trinity Lutheran Church. Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory are handling the arrangements.
