Donald Samuel Miller, 77, of Kent, died Thursday, December 20, 2012 at his home.
He was born July 19, 1935 in Somerset, PA to Clarence and Edna (Lydick) Miller. Donald was a 1954 graduate of Kent Roosevelt High School and was a veteran of the Army. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Laborers Local 894 in Akron and the NRA. Don loved to hunt and fish.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Martha J. (Meloy) Miller; children, Valerie Miller of Kent, Donald Craig Miller, Scott Clifford (Julie) Miller of Macomb, MI, Connie S. (Michael) Monds of Kent, Brian K. (Lisa) Miller of Bay Village; grandchildren, Ashlee, Cori, Molly, Scotty, Dean and Cal Miller, Mason, Chris and Nicole Monds; great grandson, Micah Monds; nephews, Jason Bostosky and Ricky Miller; sister, Sandra E. Bostosky of Streetsboro; Don's best friend and hunting companion, Thunder his German Shorthair Pointer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Edna (Lydick) Miller; and brother, Clarence W. Miller.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, December 22nd at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home with Pastor Elizabeth Hazelton officiating, where calling hours will be held 10-11 AM Saturday, December 22nd.
