Donna Mae Felean

August 22, 1943 — October 21, 2010

Donna M. Felean, 67, of Kent, lost her battle with cancer, Thursday, October 21, 2010 at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. She was born August 22, 1943 in Cuyahoga Falls, to William Earl and Betty Jane (Thomas) Buskirk. Donna was "Mom" to everyone who knew her and always put their needs first. She was a good listener and never had a bad thing to say about anyone. Donna gave back by volunteering in the battered women's shelter giving comfort to women who had no where to go. As a single mother, she raised four children who all became the people they are today because of her kindness and never-ending love. She took pleasure in the simple things in life and never took one day for granted. "Mom" will be missed and always thought of with love and kindness. We can all find peace in knowing that she is in a better place, resting comfortably. She leaves behind her sons, Timothy (Tricia) Surgen and Gregor Felean both of Kent; daughters, Terri (David) Rasalan of Kent and Tammy Soucek of Stow; grandchildren, Madison and Mitchell Soucek of Stow, Maximillian and Margaux Rasalan of Kent; brothers, John (Patti) Firby of Diamond, William, David (Sue), Mark and Steve (Kim) Buskirk, all of Akron; countless nieces and nephews. There will be a "Celebration of Life" on Saturday October 30 from 1:00-4:00 PM at 491 Brentwood Avenue, Kent. All friends and family are welcome to attend. Memorial contributions may be made to Safer Futures, 143 Gougler Avenue, Kent, Ohio 44240 benefiting the Battered Women's Shelter. Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory are handling the arrangements.
