Dorothy Evalyn Kenward, 96, of Ravenna, died Monday, March 22, 2010 at The Loyalton in Ravenna. She was born September 30, 1913 to Albert E. and Ada A. (Beil) Flick. She was a Kent and Ravenna area resident since 1955. She worked at Cipra Ford where she was the office manager from 1955 until retiring in 1979. She was a member and former Elder of First Christian Church of Kent; member & past matron of Olive Chapter #53 - Order of the Eastern Star; active member of Church Women United; Portage County Chapter AARP; and various volunteer programs. She is survived by step-daughters, Bonnie (Peter) Polumbo of Concord, NC and Nancy L. Kohl of Bartow, Florida; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, George in 1966; and grandchildren, David, Donald, and Thomas Polumbo. The family would like to thank her special friends, Rachel Barlett, Janet Fisher, and Atty. Steve Wilson; and RMH - Hospice and The Loyalton. Calling hours will be held 6-8pm Thursday, March 25 at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home in Kent, OH. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Friday, March 26 at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home with Rev.
