Dorothy M. (Homan) White

Dorothy M. White, age 74, of Ravenna, OH, passed away suddenly on Monday, June 27, 2022 at her home.

Dorothy was born September 9, 1947 in Ravenna, OH to the late Charles and Mary (Thompson) Homan.

She was retired from Trexler Rubber Co. in Ravenna, Ohio.  She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Ravenna, Ohio.

She is survived by her daughter, Jeanette Hilton; nephew, James (Cindy) Collins; 2 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brother, David W. (Louise) Homan; many other family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Sarah Collins; nieces, Sandy Collins, and Carol Collins.

Calling hours will be held 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM Friday, July 1, 2022 at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.  Funeral services will immediately follow at 12:00 PM Friday, July 1, 2022, with Pastor David W. Ballert officiating.  Burial will follow at Standing Rock Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Portage Animal Protective League.
