Edith E. Watters, 89, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2016.
Edith was born December 25, 1926 to Walter and Bessie Parrish in Baltimore, MD.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. Watters. She is survived by her sons, Robert D. Blackiston ( Vicki), Donald K. Blackiston (Anna) and daughter Barbara L. Marshall (Edward); grandchildren, Erin Blackiston, Tonia Welsch ( Danny), Jaime Billock ( Bill), Steven Marshall (Louise), Matthew Marshall (Claire) and Dasha Marshall; great-grandchildren, Kaylee and Jenna Billock, Jonathon and George Marshall; sister, Patricia Aronhalt and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff of Arbors at Stow - Maison Ain'e for their compassion and excellent care.
Cremation has taken place, and per Edith's wishes there will be no service.
These are her final instructions:
Burn what is left of me, and scatter the ashes to the winds to help the flowers grow.
If you must bury something, let it be my faults, my weaknesses and all prejudice against my fellow man.
If, by chance, you wish to remember me, do it with a kind deed or word to someone who needs you.
