Edward J. Dibbin
Edward J. Dibbin, 90, of Hudson, passed away Monday, January 31, 2011.
He was born May 9, 1920 in Cleveland, to Valentine and Rose (Mruk) Dombrowski. Edward was a U S Navy Veteran serving in WW II on the USS Casablanca. He was a graduate of Case Western Reserve University.
He is survived by sons, Edward J. (Kathy) Dibbin Jr. of Roscoe, IL, Daniel T. (Trish) Dibbin of Brunswick and Andrew M. Dibbin of Hudson; daughter, Susan (Jim) Hester of Hudson; grandchildren, Edith (John) Holland, Max Dibbin, Kate Dibbin, Jennifer Siemen, Sarah Siemen, Jim Hester, Jeff (Adrienne) Hester, Alexander Dibbin, Claire Dibbin, Chloe Dibbin, Christie Dibbin, Joshua Dibbin; great grandson, Carter Holland; sister, Cecelia Melvin; and sister-in-law, Gloria Dibbin. He was preceded in death by wife, Victoria Ann (Sierputowski); sister, Violet Plata; brother: Edwin Dibbin.
Calling hours will be held 2-4 and 6-8PM Thursday, February 3rd at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home 628 West Main Street in Kent. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM Friday, February 4th at St. Mary's Church 340 North Main Street in Hudson with Father Edward Kordas officiating. Burial will be held at Markillie/ St. Mary's Cemetery.
