Edward Meacham

Edward Meacham, 72, of Kent, passed away, unexpectedly, on Sunday, April 21, 2024.  He was born in Ravenna on June 2, 1951 to the late Dr. Edward and Madalene Meacham and was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.

He was an avid animal lover and sports fan.  He enjoyed working on cars and fishing.  Edward loved the ocean and vacationing, especially to Florida.  He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Aidan McKeever; sister Marcia Perry and stepbrother Jack McNaughton.

Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Diane Meacham; daughters, Sheri Meacham and Julie Meacham; grandchildren, Cameron Meacham, Klayton Healy and Blake Meacham; great granddaughter Star Meacham; sister Marian Gillen; brother Dennis (Margaret) Meacham; sister Jean (Edward) Dwyer and sister-in-law Denise McNaughton.

In honoring his wishes, Edward will be cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2024 from 4:30-7:00PM at Over Easy at the Depot, 152 Franklin Ave. Kent, OH 44240.
