Evelyn Jeanette Trimble, 86, of Kent, died Saturday, April 11, 2015, at the Gables of KentRidge.
She was born December 4, 1928, in Kent, Ohio, to John and Lena Tuuri. She and her husband Gene were the former owners and operators of Kent Floral. Her dedication to work and family will be forever remembered.
Evelyn was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Kent.
She is survived by sons, Craig (Joan) Trimble of Scarsdale, New York and Mark (Libby) Trimble of Kent; daughter, Karen (David) Mullenix of Brimfield; grandchildren; Mike, Matt, Tisha (Jason), and Aaron; great grandchildren, Taylor and Trevor; and brother, Dr. Dwight (Mary Helen)Tuuri of Dayton.
She is preceded in death by husband, Gene, whom she married on September 6, 1947.
The family will receive friends at Trinity Lutheran Church, 600 South Water Street 11:30AM until 1:00PM,Thursday, April 16th with funeral services at 1:00 PM, Pastor Elizabeth Hazelton officiating. Burial will be in Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent.
