Frank Battaglia

Frank Battaglia, age 62, of Kent, OH, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2025 surrounded by family and friends.

Frank was born December 24, 1962 in Akron, OH to the late Nicholas J. and Elizabeth (DiLauro) Battaglia.

His joyful smile and his love for all the people who surrounded him made it a better place each day. He loved to play cards, read the newspaper, especially the sports section, and tell us who was going to win. 

He is preceded in death by his Mother, Elizabeth Natalie Battaglia and Father, Nicholas James Battaglia, and brother-in-law, John Besser. He is survived by his brothers, Anthony Battaglia and Danny (Tonya) Battaglia; and sisters, Grace (Mitch) Hoffman, Mary Beth Battaglia Besser, and Francine (Ron) Livezey and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and loving cousins.

Calling hours will be held 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM Sunday, February 16, 2025 at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory, 628 W. Main St. Kent, Ohio 44240. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM Monday, February 17, 2025, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 313 N. DePeyster St. Kent, Ohio 44240 with the Rev. Fr. David Bridling as celebrant. Interment will follow at Standing Rock Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Battaglia family.
