Frank Stull Bowen, 92, of Kent, died Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Akron City Hospital Medical Center.
He was born September 22, 1923 in Kent to Cyrus Frank and Inez F. (Stull) Bowen. Was a veteran of the US Army in World War II. He was President of Quick Service Welding and Machine Co., Inc. of Kent. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Kent.
He is survived by his sons, Tom (Jan) Bowen of Stow and Jim (Joyce) Bowen of Stow; grandchildren, Jennie, Jamie, Mike, Jonathan, Frankie, and Maria; great grandchildren, Austin, Drew, Josh, Sarah, Jason, Vivienne, and Kevin; and daughter-in-law, Dee Bowen of Stow;. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Bowen in 2014, son, Tim Bowen; brothers, Hugh Bowen and David Bowen; sisters, Grace Hinderschied and Lois Gombert.
We were so grateful to have been blessed with such a wonderful and devoted Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather. He was so loved and will be so dearly missed.
