Frank Fuller “Fancy Pants”, 78, of Kent, passed away, unexpectedly, on Saturday, February 27, 2021. He was born in Akron on December 10, 1942 and was a 1960 graduate of Kent Roosevelt High School. Frank proudly served in the United States Navy for 25 years, retiring in 1985 with the rank of Chief Petty Officer. He did his basic training in Chicago, IL and was stationed all over the world, including, South Africa, Egypt, Turkey, Japan and Hawaii. He was a member of American Legion Post #496 in Kent and the VFW. He was employed as the manager of The Pub and also worked for Veteran Services in Ravenna. He enjoyed playing guitar, playing Keno and singing and dancing. Frank will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard J. Fuller and Helen Irene Lacy; and his brother Richard R. Fuller.
He leaves his brother Bruce Fuller of Winter Springs, FL; dear friend Becky Lindsey of Kent and several nieces, nephews and other extended family members and friends.
Funeral services will be Thursday, March 4, 2021 at 2:00PM at Bissler and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory, 628 W. Main St. Kent, OH 44240. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1:00PM-2:00PM at the funeral home. A committal service with military honors will be held, at a later date, at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery and a Celebration of Frank’s life will be held at The Pub later in the Summer.
