Frank John Kavali, 86, formerly of Rootstown, died Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Gables At KentRidge in Kent.
He was born August 3, 1927 in Akron to John and Antonio (Bartalucci) Kavali. Frank was the owner of Kline & Kavali Plumbing and Heating; and he was a member of the Pipefitters Local #219. He was a member of The Chapel in Akron.
He is survived by daughter, Sandy (Larry) Boyd of Ravenna; sons, Jim (Linda) Kavali of Kent and Jeff (Brenda) Kavali of Ravenna; grandchildren, Scott (Jenny), Todd (Debbi) and Troy (Wendy) Ridenour, Kimberly (Mike) Evans, Keith (Nicole) Kavali, Jason (Melissa) Kuchnicki, Jeff (Ryann) and Nathan Kavali; sixteen great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and sisters-in-law. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Ruth R. Kavali, sisters, Katie Orsis and Mary Skipper; brothers, Mark Kavali, Nick Kavali, and Tony Kavali.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, April 10th at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Ley officiating. The family will receive friends two hours before the services. Burial will be held at Northlawn Cemetery.
