Gerald Francis Moledor
Gerald "Jerry" Moledor, age 83, of Melbourne Florida, passed away Friday, December 23, 2016, at William Childs Hospice House.
He was born on December 8, 1933, at 909 Franklin Avenue, Kent, to Carl and Marguerite (Wagner) Moledor.
Jerry worked at Snyders Fix-It Shop on Crain Avenue in Kent, Smith News Agency in Kent, Loeblein's Furniture in Kent, Twin Coach in Kent, Consolidated Mold and Die in Kent, Portage County Engineers, Purolator in Kent, and retired in 1990 with 30 years of service at Kent State University.
He was a member of the 20-year club at KSU and St. Patrick Church in Kent, where he and Alyce Haman were married on June 11, 1955.
Jerry is survived by his sons, Bruce (Michele Lynch) of Ravenna and Dwight (Stacy Dillon Baker) of Kent; daughter, Deborah (Moledor) Sartin of Melbourne, FL; grandsons, Thomas of Ravenna, Eric of Mogadore, Brian (Mandy Smith) of Mogadore, Craig of Ravenna, and Scott of Canton; great granddaughters, Sophia, Ava, Kaylin and Emma. He was preceded in death by his wife; and brother and sister-in-law, Lamar and Elizabeth Moledor.
Graveside service will be at Restland Cemetery in Brimfield at 11:00AM on Tuesday, January 3, 2017.
