As it must to all men, death came to Gertrude Bodnovich, of Cuyahoga Falls, on December 26, 2017, at the age of 99.
She was born November 4, 1918 in Cleveland, to Joseph and Anna (Novac) Mraz.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband, William J. Bodnovich, to whom she was married 60 years. They lived for more than 50 years in Auburn as avid farmers.
She is survived by her devoted daughter, Barbara Roach of Kent; granddaughters, Sally (Fred) Marquinez of Hudson, and Donna (Chris) Bergdorf of Peninsula; great grandchildren, Danielle (Luis) Martinez, Brent (Caley), Alyse, and Tia; great great grandson, Zackary; godson, Eugene Kocik; nephew, John Kocik; niece, Mary Ann Godlewski and dear friend, Earl Somoskey. Preceded in death by her sister, Florence Kocik, and son-in-law, Glenn L. Roach Jr.
She attended United Methodist Church of Kent.
Family will receive family and friends one hour prior to the Funeral services which will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, December 30 at United Methodist Church of Kent with Rev. Douglas Denton officiating. Entombment will be held at Northlawn Cemetery.
