Heather C. Crow, age 49 of Ravenna, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, April 30, 2023 at UH Portage Medical Center. She was born January 6, 1974 in Stow.
She was 1992 graduate of Stow Munroe High School. Heather graduated from Bowling Green State University with a bachelor’s degree in political science and was involved in a service sorority. She worked as a cashier at Kohl’s for 12 years.
While working for Kohl’s, Heather assisted in numerous service projects with Kohls Cares. She donated generously to Akron Children's Hospital, Akron Canton Food Bank, and the Cleveland Women’s Orchestra (to honor her great Aunt Helen). Heather served alongside her mother as a Eucharistic Minister for the Newman Center and was a faithful volunteer at the annual Giving Tree at Christmastime. When she was young teenager, she would volunteer at Vacation Bible School at Holy Family Parish in Stow.
A frequent visitor of tea rooms, Heather loved to share these moments whenever she could with those she loved. She was an avid collector of teddy bears and now her beloved bears will be donated to her favorite charity (Akron Children’s Hospital) as gifts to patients for comfort and love.
She is survived by her parents Lance and Terese “Terri” Crow; sister Michelle (Richard) Laskey; brother Lance Crow; niece Evelyn; nephew Nicholas; uncle Jack (Maria) Roznik; aunt Maija Roznik; and cousins Jaclyn (Jacob Kurkul) Roznik, Joey Roznik, Lisa Roznik, Michael Roznik, and Lynn DeGarenday.
Heather was preceded in death by grandparents Walter (Claire) Crow, and John (Theresia) "Rose" Roznik; aunts and uncles Johnny Roznik, Richard Roznik, Nick (Helen) Major, Luci DeGarenday, and Aunt Elizabeth.
