Helen Ruth Brewster

August 16, 1925 — October 13, 2010

Helen Ruth Mulvaney Brewster "The Best Grandma Ever" 1925-2010 Following a life of service, love and compassion, Helen Ruth Mulvaney Brewster passed away October 13, 2010. Her influence and goodness were felt by all and she will forever be remembered for her compassion, love and dedication to being the best grandma ever. Born August 16, 1925 to William and Lucy (Wyatt) Mulvaney, Helen was one of 8 children, four of whom have preceded her in death (William, Midge, Mary and Dave). She is survived by her sisters, Clara Klein and Shirley Mulvaney; and brother, Ralph Mulvaney. Helen married the late Jack Harold Brewster on April 26, 1947 and they spent their time working for Goodyear and traveling all over the United States, Canada and Mexico enjoying the sights along the way. Helen's favorite route was anywhere "out west" as she called it and they spent many hours on the road often being accompanied by a few grandchildren as well. Her legacy is endless back scratches, ice cream stops and trips to Wingfoot Lake either to play with the grandkids or for yearly family reunions. Patience was her greatest virtue. Cherished memories of her loving attention and generosity are felt by her two children: Kathleen Jean Capretta and Daniel Glen Brewster; grandchildren: Stephanie Frampton (Chris), Brian Crocker (Sandra), Denise Bergman (Randy), Patrick Michl (Kathleen), Daniel Michl (Jena), Steve Brewster; great grandchildren: Heather, Morgan, Danielle, Brenton, Emily, Lillian, Celina, Shannon, Sadie, Deena, Adam, David, Brittany, Kyle, Nathan; and 3 great great grandchildren: Emma, Timothy and Ila. Raymond Meixel was her "beautiful" baby boy who preceded in her death. She is also preceded in death by her loving grandsons, David Crocker and Kelly Brewster. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, October 18th at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home with Bishop Nate Jeppson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the services. Burial will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery in Stow.
