Henry was born on May 24, 1926 on a farm in Suffield. He graduated from Suffield High School in 1944 and progressed to a variety of successful careers. For much of his early career he was employed by Ohio Bell. He then became an entrepreneur and business owner in Brimfield where he managed and owned Just SOHIO, Just Shell Service, and Just Drive Thru. During semiretirement, he enjoyed working at Green Hills Golf Course.
Henry's interests were greatly centered on his love of the outdoors and spending time with his family. He was happiest working in his yard or garden, attending sporting events of his children and grandchildren, or playing golf with family and friends. He was an avid sports fan, and loved having a good meal, a good laugh, and having conversations with family and friends. Henry's community ties were strong. By operating his own business in the heart of Brimfield for over 50 years, serving as a volunteer fireman for the Brimfield Fire Department, plowing lots, fixing cars, and coaching little league, Henry was known throughout Brimfield. He will be missed by many for his integrity, strong work ethic, willingness to accept and fulfill responsibilities, friendliness, and his example of how to live life well and to the fullest.
