Howard G. Stultz was born in Roanoke, Virginia, where he lived for most of his life. He recently passed away at age 88 in Streetsboro, Ohio; where he currently lived with his wife Dorothy L. Stultz.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, of sixty -three years and one son Greg and daughter-in-law, Anne, of Stow, Ohio. Also surviving is his one grand daughter, Stephanie Stultz Panteck and her husband, Bryan, of Strongsville, Ohio. Recently Howard was blessed with a great grandson, Cooper Panteck.
Howard was one of seven children and was preceded in death by four of his older sisters. He is survived by one brother, Herman Stultz, of Mesa, Arizona and one sister, Helen White, of Marfa, Texas.
Mr. Stultz was a locomotive engineer for the Norfolk & Western Railway. He retired with forty years of train service.
A World War II veteran, who served proudly with the 39th Bombardment Group of the U.S. Army Air Corps in the Pacific Theatre on the island of Guam. His WW II military service spanned almost four years.
He was an avid golfer and a charter member of Blue Hills Golf Club. Howard, along with wife Dorothy, were members of the Grand Squares dance club for many years.
Howard was a member of Melrose Baptist Church. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date in Ohio.
