Jack M. Sullivan, 73, of Kent passed away on April 1st after a long bout with COPD. He was recently diagnosed with bladder cancer and heart failure. Jack was born in Erie, PA on July 22, 1946. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda; sons Christopher and Shayne; granddaughter Ava; and his brother, Jim Sullivan of Knoxville, TN.
He was a Specialist 5th Class serving in Germany as a Personnel Specialist during the Vietnam war. He was a retired Hotel Manager, receiving a Certified Hotel Manager certificate from the Educational Institute, Company Manager of the Year award, and President’ s Award. He was also an avid car guy who owned many hot rods over the years and enjoyed a large number of great friends by attending cruise ins and shows.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Services in care of Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory, 628 West Main Street, Kent, OH 44240.
