Jane Marie Rowe

Jane Marie Rowe, 68, of Streetsboro, died Sunday, December 6, 2015 at home with her sister by her side.

She was born January 31, 1947 in Ravenna, to Darrell and Carol (Rundquist) Cowan. Jane was a Spanish teacher in Garrettsville, Maple Heights and Nordonia. Jane attended the Streetsboro United Methodist Church, loved to travel and enjoyed touring Mexico. During the summers, she enjoyed raising produce with her husband Rick for their roadside market. Jane was instrumental in creating a fun and loving community at Cowan Lake, where she lived her whole life.

She is survived by sister, Sandy Caniglia of Streetsboro; niece, Stacy Maffei of Leonardtown, MD; nephew, J.D. Langguth of Rootstown; great nieces and nephews, Sam and Summer Roen and Christopher and Julia Langguth; step-sons, Brad Rowe of Yerington, NV and David Rowe of Paso Robles, CA; step-grandchildren, Chynna Rowe, Richard Rowe, Alexander Rowe, Tucker Rowe and Colby Rowe. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard in 2013; and parents, Darrell and Carol (Rundquist) Cowan in 2010.

Calling hours will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday, December 9th at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory in Kent. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, December 10th at the Streetsboro United Methodist Church with Rev. Annette Dimond officiating.
