Jason R. Clemens, 41, of Mantua, died Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at UH Portage Medical Center in Ravenna.
He was born February 19, 1974 in Ravenna. A graduate of Kent Roosevelt High School, Jason worked at Berry Plastics in Aurora. Jason married his high school sweetheart and soul mate Michelle on December 31, 1995. The two have been totally devoted to their four children and to each other. Jason was a strong man in body, mind and spirit and was a rock to family and friend alike. Jason was strong, gentle, kind and upbeat. He was a handyman extraordinaire, an excellent drummer and an avid sports fan. He was always creative whether he was giving an-outside-the-box solution to a problem or doing pencil sketches. His drawings of trees are especially beautiful.
He is survived by his wife, Michelle (Primm) Clemens; children, Brianna, Hannah, Lucas, and Cameron; mother, Pam (Jim) Fife of Ravenna; father, Jack (Sharon) Clemens Jr. of Largo, FL; sister, Stephanie (Michael) Fleser of Akron; grandmother, Catharine Cline of Hartville, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, stepbrothers and stepsisters. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Howard Cline, Jack Clemens Sr., and Laurabelle Clemens.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Jason Clemens' Children Fund at Hometown Bank, 100 E. Main St, Ravenna, Ohio 44266. The fund will help with their continuing education.
Funeral services will be held 11:00AM November 18th at First United Methodist Church of Ravenna, 263 S. Prospect St., Ravenna with Pastor Stephen T. Sparling officiating. The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM before the service.
