Jean Gavriloff, 71, of Arcadia, FL, died Wednesday, May 9, 2018, in her home surrounded by her husband and daughters.
She was born October 11, 1946 in Regen, Germany to Peter and Alexandra (Rachkiewska) Rebszenko. Jean graduated from Heidelberg University in Tiffin and then spent 30 years encouraging, supporting, and loving her students at Ravenna High School. She strived to teach culture, understanding, and appreciation with the languages she taught (German, Russian, and English) at Ravenna.
Jean also owned and managed her own local rental business. Her passion for hard work and success in her career was important to her but yet of no comparison to her immeasurable love she had for her family. The only thing she ever truly desired was to be with and have more time with the ones she loved. We will carry her boundless and enduring love for all eternity.
She is survived by her husband, Glen Gavriloff; daughters, Amanda (Gregg) Ginther of Kent and Michelle (Mike) Bailey of Kent; and grandchildren, Carter Ginther and Mika Bailey. She was preceded in death by her parents ; and her brother, Victor Rebszenko.
Memorial services will be held 6:00 PM Thursday, May 31st at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory with Kevin O'Brien officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the services. Private burial will be held at Standing Rock Cemetery.
