Jean B. Kaminski, or as everyone knew her,"Bema",88, of Kent, was called home to Heaven Monday, April 4, 2016 at University Hospital in Cleveland. She was a lifetime member of St. Patrick's Church in Kent.
Bema is a unique individual who lived her life as a kind, loving person to whomever was fortunate enough to meet her in the path of life. Bema had many close friends in her home at Tower 43, including Ginney McGinnis, and will be greatly missed. Bema enjoyed the jingle of a slot machine, eating out, grocery shopping, Burger King coffee, and was a great animal lover. Bema dedicated her life to her "girls", her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bema was always there for any family member in need and knew where everyone was at all times...as any great mother does.
Bema's job has been completed on earth. She has now gone to take a rest, only to still carry on...just now from above.
She was born September 28, 1927 in Akron to Alex and Frances (Wovonich) Kresowaty.
She is survived by her daughters, Kathi Meeker of Kent and Carol Kruger of Brimfield; grandchildren, Carol Ann Stephenson of Las Vegas, NV, Rusty (Melanie) Brown of Malvern, Kyle Kruger of Brimfield, Kammie (Matt) Wilmoth of Brimfield; Gavin Sekulich of Brimfield, Holly (Rob) Schmunk of Stow, great grandchildren, Trent, Mariah, Haley, Noah, Trevor, Presley, Kyle, Landon, Leah, and Clara and extended family, Pat (Jenny) Stephenson and Jendy Miller.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Kaminski in 1961; daughter, Karen Artl; grandson, Troy Brown, sons-in-law Randy Meeker and Bill Kruger and longtime friend Alice Peterhansen.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, April 15 at St. Patrick Church in Kent, with Father Richard Pentello officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until the time of mass. Burial will be held at Standing Rock Cemetery.
