Jeffrey Lynn Lopick, 67, a loving husband and amazing father, passed away at his home on Wednesday, April 13.
Jeff was born June 23, 1954 in Cleveland, OH to the late Irvin and Mary (Moore) Lopick. He was a 1972 graduate of Crestwood High School, where he made many cherished memories with his group of close friends, The Dudes.
Jeff shared a beautiful 45 year marriage with the love of his life, Virginia F. Lopick. They couldn’t be more proud of the two children they raised together, daughter, Emily J. Porosky (Parker) and son, Michael I. Lopick. He is also survived by his beloved brother, Rodney (Lorelei) Lopick, sister, Pam (Jason) Reese and their families, as well as his Mother-In-Law, Alice Shaffer and Brother-in-Law, Greg Shaffer.
Jeff’s humor and generosity are defining qualities that will be remembered fondly by many. Always the life of the party, especially during legendary gatherings with The Dudes, he remained a gregarious and loving person all his life. Jeff was an accomplished musician who performed in many bands throughout his youth and had a passion for music that never ceased. He was also an avid supporter of Ohio sports teams, even when they let him down. When he wasn’t working on projects around the home he shared with his family for 35 years, he could be found strumming his guitar, or out on the porch, Modelo in hand.
Dobrú noc, Daddy. Love you forever, my Lynn. *Chink*
